These vintage oak School chairs are a rarity taken from an old private school in Devon. The unusual chairs would look at home in a country kitchen or a local pub. 

The different names and dates that are carved into the back of each chair are the surnames of prefects who had previously attended, along with the dates they frequented the school. The carvings are a later addition to the chairs, and would make a very unique gift for someone who appreciates a rare find.

These chairs are beautifully made, with an iconic 1920s wooden school-style look, which is sure to add a touch of character to any vintage interior.
